The name that was given to me at birth, and what 99% of people know me by is Tim Louie. I was born in Portland, Oregon in 1984. As a child and young adult, I spent much of my time participating in recreational Baseball, Soccer, and Track.
In 2002, I graduated from Southridge High School and started attending the University of Oregon for a degree in Art. In 2004 I took my education to a new level as I started studying Digital Art. I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Art, and a minor in Computer Science, Business and Administration, and East Asian Studies.
In the fall of 2006, I entered the work force working for the State of Oregon providing web development.
In 2007, I participated in a 3 week course sponsored by the University of Oregon and the Shandong University of Art and Design. The 3 week course took me to China, where I studied art in Shanghai, Jinan, and Beijing. In Jinan, at the Shanding University of Art and Design, we explored the creative minds of Chinese students and American students. The project:
How does one use visual arts to describe oriental elements and modern elements? As one tries to understand Chinese culture, one discovers: communication, understanding, harmony, exchange, cooperation, and development.
And in 2008, I continue my work as a freelancer and as an employee for the State of Oregon.
